If Christian Prisco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franco Passerini in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Davide Rainaldi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Concetto Selvaggi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Concetto Selvaggi fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored I Vendicatori F. C.'s protests and gave Concetto Selvaggi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th match minute, I Vendicatori F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Concetto Selvaggi to maneuver through the defense. Concetto Selvaggi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Edmondo Lelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Christian Prisco came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Castelvetere F.C fans jumped to their feet. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cosimo Andreola during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Davide Rainaldi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Franco Passerini's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alberigo Giannotti to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Castelvetere F.C's Beppe Verna got a free kick in the 51st minute. When Alberigo Giannotti came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the I Vendicatori F. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberigo Giannotti couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Castelvetere F.C's Edmondo Lelli got control of the ball when Concetto Selvaggi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edmondo Lelli was a little too slow when Alberigo Giannotti got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 1-1. Davide Rainaldi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franco Passerini in the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Christian Prisco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davide Rainaldi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Alberigo Giannotti took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Edmondo Lelli to make any attempt to save it. Christian Prisco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davide Rainaldi having to interfere. Alberigo Giannotti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Edmondo Lelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
