The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Armin Feliziani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniele Pellecchia in the 7th minute of the match. A collision led to FC AMBROSIANA getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Arturo Profeta hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Bernardo Manzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alessio La Marca was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If Arturo Profeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alessio La Marca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmine Muciaccia, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Alessio La Marca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmine Muciaccia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Manzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessio La Marca having to interfere. Armin Feliziani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuele Cavaliere in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Emanuele Cavaliere ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armin Feliziani was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 31st minute, Achille Onori hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arturo Profeta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Alessio La Marca made a huge save. Carmine Muciaccia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessio La Marca having to interfere. Carmine Pozzoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Alessio La Marca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

53 minutes into the game, Anfilogino Gentile was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Filettole's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC AMBROSIANA the free kick. After having played for 55 minutes, Arturo Profeta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC AMBROSIANA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo Profeta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Arturo Profeta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alessio La Marca. Filettole's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arturo Profeta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 63rd minute Carmine Muciaccia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessio La Marca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alessio La Marca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carmine Muciaccia's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Manzi in the 67th minute of play forced Filettole's goalkeeper Alessio La Marca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arturo Profeta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessio La Marca having to interfere. FC AMBROSIANA's Carmine Muciaccia got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Filettole defense, Carmine Muciaccia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alessio La Marca. The Filettole fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alessio La Marca should have stopped the shot. In the 79th minute of the match Angelo Orsi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alessio La Marca showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alessio La Marca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Profeta in the 82nd minute of play. Carmine Muciaccia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Alessio La Marca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carmine Muciaccia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alessio La Marca having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Filettole's zone, Bernardo Manzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alessio La Marca came out of the goal and Bernardo Manzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alessio La Marca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Profeta, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Bernardo Manzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessio La Marca having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the FC AMBROSIANA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
