Federico Di Cristofaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Contaldi in the 16th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes Cantalupo FC got a freekick which was hit by Demetrio Manna. Franco Barbato made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 19thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Federico Di Cristofaro would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. 22 minutes into the match, Cantalupo FC's goalkeeper Federico Di Cristofaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardo Contaldi. The supporters of F.C. REAL GNUMRIDD booed when Cantalupo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anfilogino Lauria didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th match minute, F.C. REAL GNUMRIDD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Paolucci to maneuver through the defense. If Frank Guidoni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of F.C. If Frank Guidoni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Federico Di Cristofaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Contaldi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Guidoni to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Cantalupo FC's zone, Franco Barbato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Di Cristofaro came out of the goal and Franco Barbato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cantalupo FC's attentive Flavio Carozza managed to snatch the ball when Ciro Paolucci made a throw-in in the 55th minute of the game. In the 55th match minute, Cantalupo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Carozza to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Frank Guidoni could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Alfonso Valcareggi however easily saved by the left post. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C. REAL GNUMRIDD's goalkeeper Alfonso Valcareggi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Cantalupo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alvise Proietti came free, but Federico Di Cristofaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 minutes of play, Cantalupo FC's Frank Guidoni made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfonso Valcareggi was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Cantalupo FC booed when F.C. REAL GNUMRIDD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Contaldi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute Alvise Proietti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Di Cristofaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Federico Di Cristofaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Contaldi in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Frank Guidoni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfonso Valcareggi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 88 played minutes F.C. REAL GNUMRIDD got a freekick which was hit by Cosimo Benarrivo. Frank Guidoni was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 89th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 91 played minutes Cantalupo FC got a freekick which was hit by Frank Guidoni. Flavio Carozza hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Fortunato Bizzarri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciro Paolucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvise Proietti in the 97th minute of play forced Cantalupo FC's goalkeeper Federico Di Cristofaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cantalupo FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
