If Elia Del Nero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th match minute, FC Noce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Mussi to maneuver through the defense. The corner ended in Edoardo Mazzola almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Noce's Felice Arcangeli did a great save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elia Del Nero to make the kick off.
