Spectators: 7371 (Terracing: 5529, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Antonello Cinque made the kick off which started today's match. A.S. Versus's Dario Bolli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Colagrossi in the 6th minute of play. Francesco Tomei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Diego Mucci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 played minutes A.S. Versus got a freekick which was hit by Antonello Cinque. In the 10th minute, Antonello Cinque fired away a sharp free kick straight at the goal. It looked like it might be really tough for the goalie to handle, but the shot went into the stands to the left of Diego Mucci. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Francesco Tomei managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.S. Versus's supporters rose to their feet, but Francesco Tomei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego Mucci breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dario Bolli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Palumbo in the 17th minute of play. Dario Bolli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Palumbo, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The audience was convinced that Antonello Cinque's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diego Mucci was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Colagrossi in the 21st minute of play forced A.S. Versus's goalkeeper Dario Bolli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd match minute, Ferno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carter Iannucci to maneuver through the defense. A.S. Versus's Antonello Cinque got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Ferno's Fabio Palumbo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dario Bolli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, A.S. Versus's goal looked a bit too open when Carter Iannucci came free, but Dario Bolli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st match minute, A.S. Versus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Brandini to maneuver through the defense. Ferruccio Verna's late challenge caught a Ferno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferruccio Verna helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th minute, Ferruccio Verna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfonso Colagrossi made a kick off. After 51 played minutes A.S. Versus got a freekick which was hit by Francesco Tomei. 53 minutes into the match, A.S. Versus's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Colagrossi came free, but Dario Bolli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonello Cinque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francesco Tomei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Francesco Tomei came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the A.S. Versus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francesco Tomei couldn't finish the play. In the 70th match minute, A.S. Versus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beppe Massa to maneuver through the defense. Dario Bolli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Colagrossi, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the match, A.S. Versus's goal looked a bit too open when Attilio Di Fiore came free, but Dario Bolli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Cerasoli hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After having played for 75 minutes, Antonello Cinque managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.S. Versus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonello Cinque was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enzo Di Santo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Dario Bolli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dario Bolli made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Carter Iannucci sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Ferno getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Alfonso Ottaviani hit a great ball. The Ferno supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ferno would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
