Spectators: 6694 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1694, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alessandro Cardano started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Ciro Benarrivo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zambana Nuova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Benarrivo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zambana Nuova's Ferruccio De Simone got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 8th minute, Zambana Nuova's Alessandro Cardano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Cristoforo Ubriaco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Domenico Biagetti having to make a save. Ciro Benarrivo kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Ciro Benarrivo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cristiano Adriano came out and tried to block the shot, but Ciro Benarrivo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 15th minute. After a defensive mix-up in marto's zone, Alessandro Cardano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano Adriano came out of the goal and Alessandro Cardano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristiano Adriano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferruccio De Simone in the 20th minute. With a little luck, marto's Cristiano Adriano got control of the ball when Ferruccio De Simone tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Zambana Nuova's Alessandro Cardano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristiano Adriano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ferruccio De Simone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Cristiano Adriano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristiano Adriano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alessandro Cardano's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Alessandro Cardano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Cristiano Adriano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, one of marto:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 39th minute, Zambana Nuova got a penalty, and Camillo Mandelli placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Cristiano Adriano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Cardano, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabiano De Lucia to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Alessandro Cardano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristiano Adriano was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 56 minutes into the match, Emiliano Nanni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristiano Adriano. marto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emiliano Nanni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 61st minute Ferruccio De Simone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Adriano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alessandro Cardano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristiano Adriano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferruccio De Simone, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute, Fabiano De Lucia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Alessandro Cardano put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cristiano Adriano. In the 71st minute Ferruccio De Simone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Adriano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristiano Adriano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Cardano in the 75th minute of play. Cristiano Adriano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferruccio De Simone, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After 78 played minutes marto got a freekick which was hit by Frank Feliziani. In the 80th minute, Ciro Benarrivo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristiano Adriano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Cardano in the 82nd minute of play. Alessandro Cardano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristiano Adriano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. After some careless play in the marto defense, Alessandro Cardano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristiano Adriano. The marto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristiano Adriano should have stopped the shot. marto's Cristiano Adriano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferruccio De Simone in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Zambana Nuova fully deserved thier win.
