In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Francolino FC's goalkeeper Amerigo Mazzetti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 25 minutes, Demetrio De Angelis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Francolino FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Demetrio De Angelis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 45 played minutes, Francolino FC's Anselmo Colagrossi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arturo Valcareggi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Francolino FC reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Torino FC's zone, Demetrio De Angelis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antonio Martelli made a kick off. Francolino FC's Alvaro Totaro managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Andrea Di Felice in the 66 minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Demetrio De Angelis in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arturo Valcareggi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arturo Valcareggi came out of the goal and Alvaro Totaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
