Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) Alessio Melani was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lucian Stănciulaş. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabrizio Ciscato got free with Alessio Melani in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florian Fantozzi in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arrigo Biancone saved Merlaschio FC from getting behind. If Beppe Cianci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arrigo Biancone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francesco Vanni, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Lucian Stănciulaş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Loiacono in the 15th minute of play forced Merlaschio FC's goalkeeper Arrigo Biancone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Merlaschio FC's Alex Di Renzo got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 20th minute, Fabrizio Ciscato reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alessio Melani. The goal made the score 1-0. Fabrizio Ciscato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Lucian Stănciulaş came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Merlaschio FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucian Stănciulaş couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Tomba Di Nerone FC's Ferruccio Tedeschi got a free kick in the 28th minute. Fabrizio Ciscato spun around in front of the goal 29 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Tomba Di Nerone FC's goal. Tomba Di Nerone FC's Alessio Melani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucian Stănciulaş in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute Fabrizio Ciscato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessio Melani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alessio Melani was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Beppe Cianci showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 34 minute of play. With a little luck, Tomba Di Nerone FC's Alessio Melani got control of the ball when Fabrizio Ciscato tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd minute Carlo Loiacono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arrigo Biancone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Lucian Stănciulaş ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alessio Melani was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabrizio Ciscato to make the kick off. If Fabrizio Ciscato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabrizio Ciscato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Adriano Galdi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Florian Fantozzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Arrigo Biancone made a huge save. 67 minutes into the match, Tomba Di Nerone FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabrizio Ciscato came free, but Alessio Melani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alessio Melani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Beppe Cianci went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Fabrizio Ciscato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Alessio Melani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adriano Galdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Florian Fantozzi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 88th minute, Fabrizio Ciscato ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alessio Melani was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Beppe Cianci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessio Melani having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Merlaschio FC fully deserved thier win.
