After 7 minutes of play, Merlaschio FC's Beppe Cianci made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cesare Spano was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Fabrizio Ciscato came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Merlaschio FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabrizio Ciscato couldn't finish the play. After 13 played minutes OlandeseVolante got a freekick which was hit by Felice Uguccioni. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabrizio Ciscato in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cesare Spano saved OlandeseVolante from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Merlaschio FC's Alex Di Renzo got a free kick in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Merlaschio FC's goalkeeper Arrigo Biancone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armin Grande. After 18 minutes of play, Merlaschio FC's Lucian Stănciulaş made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cesare Spano was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, OlandeseVolante's Davide Moscatelli got a free kick in the 26th minute. After having played for 28 minutes, Fabrizio Ciscato managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merlaschio FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabrizio Ciscato was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cesare Spano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Galdi in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Andrea Bolognini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Merlaschio FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OlandeseVolante the free kick. The referee gave OlandeseVolante a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Elia Loiacono, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Merlaschio FC's Arrigo Biancone. 1-2. The audience was convinced that Fabrizio Ciscato's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cesare Spano was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. With a little luck, Merlaschio FC's Arrigo Biancone got control of the ball when Armin Grande tried to sneak it across the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabrizio Ciscato made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Fabrizio Ciscato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 53rd match minute, OlandeseVolante was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davide Moscatelli to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in OlandeseVolante's zone, Lucian Stănciulaş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesare Spano came out of the goal and Lucian Stănciulaş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joris Celton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Cesare Spano made a huge save. With 62 minutes on the clock, Victorio Egoi commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Merlaschio FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Victorio Egoi hit a great ball. After having played for 64 minutes, Elia Loiacono managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OlandeseVolante's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elia Loiacono was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cesare Spano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrizio Ciscato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabrizio Ciscato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Cesare Spano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Merlaschio FC's Adriano Galdi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cesare Spano. That made the score 1-3 after 70 minutes of play. 73 minutes into the match, Merlaschio FC's Alex Di Renzo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cesare Spano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in OlandeseVolante's zone, Lucian Stănciulaş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesare Spano came out of the goal and Lucian Stănciulaş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 77 minutes into the match, OlandeseVolante's goalkeeper Cesare Spano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabrizio Ciscato. Armin Grande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arrigo Biancone having to interfere. Cesare Spano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabrizio Ciscato in the 91st minute. Cesare Spano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrizio Ciscato in the 95th minute of play. Joris Celton received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cesare Spano came out and tried to block the shot, but Joris Celton slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 96th minute. When the match was over Merlaschio FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than OlandeseVolante throughout the match.
