Spectators: 5250 (Terracing: 4100, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Pani in the 9th minute of play forced Novate Milanese AFC's goalkeeper Fulvio Nazzari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Torino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Ricci came free, but Fabio Pollastrini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Adriano Ricci dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fabio Pollastrini, 2-0. Adriano Ricci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Torino FC's zone, Adriano Ricci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Pollastrini came out of the goal and Adriano Ricci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fulvio Nazzari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Pani in the 29th minute of play. Adriano Ricci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Pollastrini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristoforo Di Giuseppe's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Fabio Pollastrini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Ricci in the 39th minute of play. The supporters of Novate Milanese AFC booed when Torino FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Pantano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Adriano Ricci's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Pollastrini was relentless in the 44th minute of the game.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adriano Ricci was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Beppe Finocchi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Emilio Alati charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emilio Alati the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edoardo Ruscitti missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 57 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Fabio Pollastrini right hand side. Fabio Pollastrini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from György Wilbek, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 63rd minute, Adriano Ricci ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Pollastrini was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. György Wilbek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Fabio Pollastrini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniele Odisio kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th minute Novate Milanese AFC were awarded a corner. Adriano Ricci went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in György Wilbek heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Torino FC's Fabio Pollastrini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Ricci in the 72nd minute of play. Fabio Pollastrini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from György Wilbek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, Torino FC's goal looked a bit too open when György Wilbek came free, but Fabio Pollastrini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donato Pani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Fulvio Nazzari made a huge save. After 78 played minutes Torino FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Pantano. Diego Villani's late challenge caught a Novate Milanese AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Villani helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th match minute, Torino FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Villani to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Torino FC booed when Novate Milanese AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Van Den Driessche didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabio Pollastrini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from György Wilbek in the 84th minute of the match. Ferdinando Gulli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers György Wilbek in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Pollastrini saved Torino FC from getting behind. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee ended the match the Novate Milanese AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
