In the 9th minute, Carlo Giacomini sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Quirico's Cristoforo De Bonis didn't even have to move. In the 15th minute Elia Reali shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo De Bonis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Romagnoli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Quirico:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rivodora:s goal. The audience was convinced that Carmine Malinconico's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ennio Chioda was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. In the 30th match minute, Quirico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrico Oddi to maneuver through the defense. Quirico's Cristoforo De Bonis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Quirico from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmine Malinconico in the 35th minute of play forced Rivodora's goalkeeper Ennio Chioda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36thth minute of the game Carmine Malinconico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rivodora's Ennio Chioda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristoforo De Bonis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elia Reali, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Arturo Romagnoli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ennio Chioda having to make a save. Carlo Giacomini kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. A collision led to Rivodora getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Cristoforo Menna hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arturo Romagnoli was the one to do the kick off. When Carmine Malinconico came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Quirico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carmine Malinconico couldn't finish the play. Dario Di Giovanni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Carmine Malinconico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Rivodora getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Cristoforo Menna hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Arturo Romagnoli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elia Reali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arturo Romagnoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Ennio Chioda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carmine Malinconico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Arturo Romagnoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rivodora's Cristoforo Barresi got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Rivodora's Ennio Chioda got control of the ball when Carmine Malinconico tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carmine Malinconico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ennio Chioda having to make a save. Rivodora's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
