Cadimare FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anthony Coviello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Attilio Di Vincenzo hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Carlo Facchini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthony Coviello in the 33rd minute of play. After 35 played minutes Porte got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Liberati. When Anselmo Liberati came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Porte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Liberati couldn't finish the play. In the 95th match minute, Porte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Cellucci to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cadimare FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Porte had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
