Concetto Villani was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Claudio Cera capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Claudio Cera really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Ciro Campo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Concetto Villani firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 14th minute, Frank Basile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ainar Ärsis scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emiliano Massimini, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Frank Basile recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emiliano Massimini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ainar Ärsis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anselmo Caruso got free with Concetto Villani in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Spoleto Calcio's Concetto Villani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Caruso in the 44th minute of play. Ciro Campo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Concetto Villani made a huge save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Ferdinando De Sisti kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Anthony Bozzelli might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Concetto Villani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anthony Bozzelli ran back to his position shaking his head. The throw-in from Emilio De Carolis in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by A.C.Cavalese's Anthony Bozzelli. Carmine Colucci kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Ciro Campo scored 2-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Concetto Villani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Spoleto Calcio's Concetto Villani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Caruso in the 64th minute of play. When Carmine Colucci fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spoleto Calcio's protests and gave Carmine Colucci a yellow card for diving instead. A.C.Cavalese made a substitution. Carmine Genovese replaced Frank Basile. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Emiliano Massimini successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ainar Ärsis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Massimini having to interfere. Emiliano Massimini made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Ainar Ärsis sent off a good shot on target. Emiliano Massimini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Afonso Dias in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, Edmondo Di Crescenzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emiliano Massimini was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Fausto Di Lullo. After a rather tough play, A.C.Cavalese's Claudio Cera got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 81st match minute, Spoleto Calcio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinando De Sisti to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Cera in the 82nd minute of play forced Spoleto Calcio's goalkeeper Concetto Villani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuele Balboni lost his temper 84 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Emiliano Massimini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ainar Ärsis, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Claudio Cera charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudio Cera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Spoleto Calcio booed when A.C.Cavalese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Cera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Spoleto Calcio's Concetto Villani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmine Genovese in the 95th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 98 minutes, Emiliano Massimini successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the A.C.Cavalese players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
