Maver's Corrado Marulli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciccio Passerini in the 7th minute of play. Ciccio Passerini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Corrado Marulli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Dave Di Martino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eugenio De Santis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Edmondo De Sisti made a huge save. Ciccio Passerini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Corrado Marulli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corrado Marulli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermanno Cicchini, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Eugenio De Santis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dave Di Martino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casaleggio Novara AFC's Edmondo De Sisti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Casaleggio Novara AFC from getting a goal against them. When Edoardo Di Maio fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maver's protests and gave Edoardo Di Maio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th match minute, Maver was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edoardo Di Maio to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Ciccio Passerini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casaleggio Novara AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciccio Passerini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Corrado Marulli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Corrado Marulli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermanno Cicchini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Ciccio Passerini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Casaleggio Novara AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ermanno Cicchini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristiano Gentili hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Ermanno Cicchini didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 52nd minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Ermanno Cicchini ran dejectedly back to his position. After having played for 54 minutes, Filippo Cannone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Casaleggio Novara AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filippo Cannone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Maver's zone, Ciccio Passerini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Corrado Marulli came out of the goal and Ciccio Passerini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Maver getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Cristiano Gentili hit a great ball. Casaleggio Novara AFC's Enzo Di Lello couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 60th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Maver. In the 61st minute, Casaleggio Novara AFC's Ermanno Cicchini ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Corrado Marulli. Corrado Marulli yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. In the 67th minute, Ermanno Cicchini made a precise shot to the right of Corrado Marulli. Maver's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 70 minutes into the match, Maver's Dave Di Martino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edmondo De Sisti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Casaleggio Novara AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Di Martino came free, but Edmondo De Sisti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciccio Passerini took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Corrado Marulli. Corrado Marulli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Filippo Cannone kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Ciccio Passerini got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Casaleggio Novara AFC booed when Maver was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anfilogino Montaldi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute Ermanno Cicchini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corrado Marulli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ermanno Cicchini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Anfilogino Montaldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Casaleggio Novara AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Maver.
