The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The wind increased when Beppe Polo made the kick off in the second half. Concetto Formaggio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Iuri Rosado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iuri Rosado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Marcelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Borgata Fidene's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Marcelli came free, but Iuri Rosado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Borgata Fidene getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Aykan Olcum hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Concetto Formaggio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cogliate FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 81 minutes into the game, Cogliate FC's Emiliano Marcelli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iuri Rosado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After having played for 87 minutes, Alex Piccoli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borgata Fidene's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Piccoli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aykan Olcum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Alex Marongiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Veto Alcaraz was shown his second yellow card after 96 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 97th minute, Veto Alcaraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cogliate FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
