An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Di Croce in the 13th minute of play forced Cagnacci Calcio's goalkeeper Alexander Petruzzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Anfilogino Polimeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Prato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Augusto Zaccardi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Zaccardi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anfilogino Polimeno went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 38 minutes into the game, Dave Talone threw the ball into play from the sideline. Cagnacci Calcio's Anfilogino Polimeno quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Augusto Zaccardi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Spitaleri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Fausto Prato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bonemerse's Augusto Zaccardi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Spitaleri in the 55th minute of play. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Dennis Spitaleri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Cagnacci Calcio's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
