After 18 minutes, Edmondo Coscia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viorolio and the Farrazzano FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Viorolio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmondo Coscia to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Fabrizio Catapano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuele Di Massimo was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Farrazzano FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Salvucci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Viorolio's Alberto Giammaria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Tesone in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Ferruccio Proietti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Farrazzano FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Viorolio the free kick. Ferruccio Proietti hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
