Rio Saliceto's Dario Parente proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Rio Saliceto from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute, Enzo Margoni made a precise shot to the right of Francesco Milani. Ponzano AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. If Fortunato Bianchini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Rio Saliceto getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Elia Magno hit a great ball. Claudio Flamini hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Fortunato Bianchini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ponzano AFC's Anfilogino Chelodi got a free kick in the 75th minute. Enzo Margoni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francesco Milani having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Rio Saliceto's goal looked a bit too open when Davide Di Mario came free, but Dario Parente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Rio Saliceto left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ponzano AFC.
