No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 55th minute, Felice Selvaggi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arturo Gagliano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Bravo having to interfere. After some careless play in the Fognano defense, Frank Scudieri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Bravo. The Fognano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Bravo should have stopped the shot. Enrico Di Gregorio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 98 minutes into the match, Fognano's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Scudieri came free, but Bruno Bravo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Taggi Di Sotto had won after a very even match.
