Spectators: 6704 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1694, VIP seats: 10) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alberigo Pantalone got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, toro united's Carmine Cara got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 7th minute, Fedele Mazzone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 8 played minutes, Mazzo FC's Antonello Spadoni shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cosimo Baur came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mazzo FC reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Alessandro Genovese managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mazzo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alessandro Genovese was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cosimo Baur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Kaká Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesare Palombi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Achille Russo in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Mazinho Tróia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cesare Palombi. The goal made the score 2-0. Mazzo FC's Cesare Palombi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mazinho Tróia in the 28th minute of play. Cosimo Baur came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Mazzo FC's Donato Franceschini. But to his dismay, Donato Franceschini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The supporters of Mazzo FC booed when toro united was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonello Di Virgilio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonello Spadoni took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cosimo Baur. toro united's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Carmine Cara hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Genovese in the 43rd minute of play forced toro united's goalkeeper Cosimo Baur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kaká Couto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesare Palombi having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mazinho Tróia to make the kick off. Cesare Palombi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká Couto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Florian Tarantini fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored toro united's protests and gave Florian Tarantini a yellow card for diving instead. Mazzo FC's Antonello Spadoni got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Mazzo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mazinho Tróia came free, but Cesare Palombi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Mazinho Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot. toro united's supporters rose to their feet, but Mazinho Tróia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Niccolai charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvaro Niccolai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of toro united booed when Mazzo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Niccolai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kaká Couto might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cesare Palombi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kaká Couto ran back to his position shaking his head. Alessandro Genovese received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Cosimo Baur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. toro united fully deserved thier win.
