Spectators: 6698 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carter Persia got free with Bianco Nicolo in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 10 minutes into the match, Alvise Flocco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bianco Nicolo, 1-0. After 16 minutes, Anfilogino Pagliuca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Acquarossa AFC and the Hellas Verona FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Acquarossa AFC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Anfilogino Pagliuca hit a great ball. In the 31st minute Alvise Flocco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bianco Nicolo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvise Flocco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alvise Flocco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlo Preda made a kick off. In the 61st match minute, Hellas Verona FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dave Antonacci to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute Carter Persia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bianco Nicolo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Ercole Panella was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Acquarossa AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hellas Verona FC the free kick. In the 65th match minute, Acquarossa AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ercole Panella to maneuver through the defense. If Alvise Flocco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carter Persia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hellas Verona FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
