The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Korneliusz Bialakowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodolfo Maciel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Caccavale, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 8 minutes into the match, A.S.D. Aranova's goal looked a bit too open when Amos Piano came free, but Rodolfo Maciel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in A.S.D. Aranova's zone, Amos Piano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Maciel came out of the goal and Amos Piano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Stepan Kulakovskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th match minute, Kibugim FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Di Rado to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Demetrio Martorella in the 19th minute really tested Ernesto Signoretti's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stepan Kulakovskiy in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Signoretti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 29 played minutes Kibugim FC got a freekick which was hit by Franco Basile. Fabio Caccavale might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodolfo Maciel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabio Caccavale ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stepan Kulakovskiy in the 38th minute of play forced Kibugim FC's goalkeeper Ernesto Signoretti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Amicone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Ernesto Signoretti made a huge save. A hard shot by Franco Di Nardo from long distance, 43 minutes into the match, got Ernesto Signoretti's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Stepan Kulakovskiy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Ernesto Signoretti made a huge save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Augusto Amicone to make the kick off. Ernesto Di Rado tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Ernesto Signoretti. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-0 in the 53rd minute. Fabio Caccavale's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rodolfo Maciel firmly grabbed it by the left post. Fabio Caccavale struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Rodolfo Maciel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kibugim FC. Rodolfo Maciel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amos Piano in the 65th minute of the match. Korneliusz Bialakowski got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 66th match minute, A.S.D. Aranova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Korneliusz Bialakowski to maneuver through the defense. When Cosimo Baresi fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.S.D. Aranova's protests and gave Cosimo Baresi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Kibugim FC booed when A.S.D. Aranova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosimo Baresi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, A.S.D. Aranova's Franco Di Nardo got a free kick in the 76th minute. 78 minutes in the game Antonio Cerasoli got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. A.S.D. Aranova's Augusto Amicone got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute of the match, Amos Piano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rodolfo Maciel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Stepan Kulakovskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Ernesto Signoretti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernesto Signoretti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augusto Amicone's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Kibugim FC's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Amicone came free, but Ernesto Signoretti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Augusto Amicone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 99 played minutes, A.S.D. Aranova's Demetrio Martorella shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ernesto Signoretti came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in A.S.D. Aranova reached it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The A.S.D. Aranova fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kibugim FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
