After having played for 6 minutes, Alfonso Bozzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montanaro AFC's Fabio Battista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attilio Lucchetti in the 13th minute of play. Real Vescovio's Attilio Lucchetti got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Real Vescovio getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Dennis Magliocco hit a great ball. Enzo Giovannelli, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Enzo Manna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Aldo Pezzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Montanaro AFC's Fabio Battista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attilio Lucchetti in the 24th minute of play. After 25 minutes Montanaro AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edoardo Di Massimo who took care of the corner kick. Dennis Magliocco's late challenge caught a Montanaro AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The wind increased when Attilio Lucchetti made the kick off in the second half. Antonio Palomba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aldo Pezzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Fabio Battista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attilio Lucchetti in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Attilio Lucchetti in the 68th minute of play forced Montanaro AFC's goalkeeper Fabio Battista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Montanaro AFC's Cristoforo Di Paolo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Fabio Battista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edoardo Di Massimo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Real Vescovio's Alfonso Bozzo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. With a little luck, Montanaro AFC's Fabio Battista got control of the ball when Alfonso Bozzo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Montanaro AFC's Enzo Manna got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Adriano Bisegna fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montanaro AFC's protests and gave Adriano Bisegna a yellow card for diving instead. Attilio Lucchetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Battista having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
