Pedriano FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Beppe Cimino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pedriano FC! The supporters of Camnago Volta booed when Pedriano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camnago Volta's Frank Fantauzzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Santalucia in the 41st minute of play. Eraldo Landolfi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Frank Fantauzzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Alessio Grossi fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Camnago Volta's protests and gave Alessio Grossi a yellow card for diving instead. Alessio Grossi hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Amos Ruzzi charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Pedriano FC's Demetrio Moreschi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Frank Fantauzzi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 67th minute, Beppe Cimino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eraldo Landolfi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Fortunato De Lorenzi made a precise shot to the right of Cristoforo Pizziolo. Pedriano FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4.
