Emanuele Sforza helped the player get up and apologised. Emanuele Sforza kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. If Robustiano Malvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Fabio Ruggeri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristoforo Candeloro. Ercolano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabio Ruggeri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After having played for 38 minutes, Fabio Ruggeri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borgo Grappa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Ruggeri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristoforo Candeloro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robustiano Malvin in the 39th minute of the match. When Zula Plaski came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Borgo Grappa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zula Plaski couldn't finish the play. Ercolano's Cristoforo Candeloro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Ruggeri in the 44th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zula Plaski to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Emanuele Sforza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ercolano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Borgo Grappa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ercolano the free kick. After 93 played minutes Borgo Grappa got a freekick which was hit by Bianco Pelliccioni. After 95 played minutes Borgo Grappa got a freekick which was hit by Armin Nardi. Ennio Bozzelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Ercolano fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Borgo Grappa were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
