In the 15th minute Edmondo Giusti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Pio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmondo Attili kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bibbiano's Edmondo Catini got a free kick in the 25th minute. Amos Bravo charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amos Bravo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 26 minutes into the game, one of Bibbiano:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 28 minutes, Racing's Enzo Barresi got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Armando Di Sipio. 36 minutes into the match, Bibbiano's goal looked a bit too open when Francesco Mori came free, but Armando Di Sipio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Di Sipio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Sasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Francesco Mori recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aurelio Sasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Bibbiano's goalkeeper Armando Di Sipio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enzo Barresi.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmondo Castellini to strike the kick off in the second half. Francesco Mori received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Armando Di Sipio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Aurelio Sasso fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing's protests and gave Aurelio Sasso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th minute, Aurelio Sasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Racing's Fortunato Pio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Racing from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Racing's Fortunato Pio got control of the ball when Edmondo Giusti tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Racing's zone, Edmondo Catini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fortunato Pio came out of the goal and Edmondo Catini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frank Perazzolo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Enzo Barresi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Racing getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Enzo Barresi hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the game, Ennio Faiella cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Fortunato Pio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice moves Edmondo Giusti could shoot a difficult shot in the 98th minute, which Fortunato Pio however easily saved by the left post.
