Tor Vaianica FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristoforo Buonanno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Diego Colella charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diego Colella the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Diego Colella hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Comunardo Passerini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Masi in the 9th minute of play. Frank Cieri hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 13thth minute of the game Cristoforo Buonanno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tor Vaianica FC's Comunardo Passerini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristoforo Buonanno hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. If Alfredo Masi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberigo Piola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Comunardo Tocci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the game, Fabrizio Vitullo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Breccia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tor Vaianica FC the free kick. Fabrizio Vitullo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Alberigo Piola blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anfilogino Cilli having to make a save. Comunardo Passerini came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Breccia's Alfredo Masi. But to his dismay, Alfredo Masi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Breccia's Alessandro Quadrini got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute, Ernesto Di Fonzo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Breccia's Anfilogino Cilli didn't even have to move. Anfilogino Cilli came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Tor Vaianica FC's Alberigo Piola. But to his dismay, Alberigo Piola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Comunardo Tocci made a kick off. Alberigo Piola might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anfilogino Cilli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberigo Piola ran back to his position shaking his head. During the 58th minute of the match Diego Colella completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Diego Colella a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Tor Vaianica FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Diego Colella hit a great ball. Comunardo Passerini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristoforo Buonanno in the 60th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the game, one of Tor Vaianica FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Breccia a penalty, 75 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Beppe Apolloni, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tor Vaianica FC's Comunardo Passerini. 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernesto Di Fonzo during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 78 played minutes Tor Vaianica FC got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Di Fonzo. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tor Vaianica FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Beppe Apolloni was slow to take the kick. During this time Breccia's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Cristoforo Buonanno managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Breccia's Alfredo Masi got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Breccia getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Beppe Apolloni hit a great ball. Alfredo Masi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Comunardo Passerini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flavio Nobili charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavio Nobili the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Breccia booed when Tor Vaianica FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Nobili didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristoforo Buonanno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 98th minute, Alfredo Masi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
