In the 5th minute Flavio Bani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Mara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudio Lancia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Grandis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franco Mara was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Flavio Bani showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. After 23 played minutes Strozza got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Iacomini. 27 minutes into the match, Strozza's goalkeeper Franco Mara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flavio Bani. Franco Mara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Bani, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Ermanno Crema fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Mara having to interfere. Ermanno Crema received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Franco Mara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Strozza's zone, Flavio Bani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franco Mara came out of the goal and Flavio Bani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Franco Mara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Bani in the 41st minute of play. Ermanno Crema sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavio Bani did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Franco Mara 45 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donato Rossetti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dennis Grandis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Claudio Lancia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Flavio Bani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franco Mara was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. With a little luck, FC JUVENTUS FOOTBALL CLUB's Claudio Lancia got control of the ball when Dennis Grandis tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th match minute, FC JUVENTUS FOOTBALL CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amos Spagnuolo to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC JUVENTUS FOOTBALL CLUB's Cesare Cherubini got a free kick in the 70th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Strozza's Amos Felice tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute Dennis Grandis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Lancia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dennis Grandis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Strozza's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Bani came free, but Franco Mara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dennis Grandis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Claudio Lancia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donato Rossetti was extremely unlucky when he, in the 85th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Franco Mara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flavio Bani's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Dennis Grandis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Strozza's supporters rose to their feet, but Dennis Grandis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudio Lancia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of FC JUVENTUS FOOTBALL CLUB booed when Strozza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eraldo Flammini didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 93 minutes of play, FC JUVENTUS FOOTBALL CLUB's Ermanno Crema made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franco Mara was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ermanno Crema fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Mara having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Strozza players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC JUVENTUS FOOTBALL CLUB.
