Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ernesto Laurenti started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After having played for 3 minutes, Dario Ranalli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Babylon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dario Ranalli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flavio Tardelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Ranalli in the 6th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armin Di Virgilio in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Tardelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Flavio Tardelli came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Babylon's Armin Di Virgilio. But to his dismay, Armin Di Virgilio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Arrigo Corsi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Laurenti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Armin Di Virgilio notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of SS Lazio calcio's Flavio Tardelli. Flavio Tardelli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dario Ranalli succeeded in the game's 23rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. The Babylon fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Babylon's Armin Di Virgilio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Amerigo Pich fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SS Lazio calcio's protests and gave Amerigo Pich a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes SS Lazio calcio got a freekick which was hit by Amerigo Pich. SS Lazio calcio's Flavio Tardelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armin Di Virgilio in the 34th minute of play. After 37 minutes, Corrado Meo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SS Lazio calcio and the Babylon players grew even worse after the yellow card. SS Lazio calcio's Flavio Tardelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Ranalli in the 39th minute of play. Corrado Meo hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, SS Lazio calcio's goal looked a bit too open when Armin Di Virgilio came free, but Flavio Tardelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Armin Di Virgilio made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, SS Lazio calcio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amerigo Pich to maneuver through the defense. After 57th play minutes Dario Ranalli shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Flavio Tardelli and just under the crossbar into goal. SS Lazio calcio's Flavio Tardelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armin Di Virgilio in the 79th minute of play. Armin Di Virgilio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Flavio Tardelli made a huge save. In the 86th match minute, SS Lazio calcio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corrado Meo to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Tardelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Ranalli in the 88th minute of play. Armin Di Virgilio in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Flavio Tardelli, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dario Ranalli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Tardelli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. Babylon's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
