Spectators: 7234 (Terracing: 5529, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 10) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edoardo Sciascia took the kick off in the first half of the match. Attilio Colelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Cosimo Scotti made a huge save. In the 7th match minute, FC Otelul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Attilio Colelli to maneuver through the defense. Alex Schiavo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Pilla in the 10th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donato Pilla in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alex Schiavo saved FC Otelul from getting behind. R. C. F. C.'s Cosimo Scotti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Campana in the 14th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, R. C. F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Dave Valeriani came free, but Cosimo Scotti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 26 minutes, Donato Pilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. R. C. F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Pilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Otelul's Alex Schiavo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Pilla in the 27th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Donato Pilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. R. C. F. C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Pilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Schiavo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alex Schiavo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edoardo Sciascia went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Dave Picozzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosimo Scotti having to interfere. If Cesare Bertini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 47 minutes, Cesare Bertini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. R. C. F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesare Bertini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half R. C. F. C. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dave Valeriani made a kick off. When R. C. F. C.'s Donato Pilla in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Otelul's goalie prevented a goal. R. C. F. The audience was convinced that Cesare Bertini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alex Schiavo was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Cosimo Scotti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Campana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Schiavo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Pilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The audience was convinced that Donato Pilla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alex Schiavo was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Otelul's goalkeeper Alex Schiavo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adriano Miccio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aldo Quattrocchi hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Anselmo Guidoni took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Alex Schiavo to make any attempt to save it. Cesare Bertini took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex Schiavo. Alex Schiavo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. When Edoardo Sciascia came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the R. C. F. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edoardo Sciascia couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Edoardo Sciascia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alex Schiavo. That made the score 0-5 in the 94 minute of play. The FC Otelul fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. R. C. F. C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
