Antonio Venditti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anfilogino Torri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Davide Nicolini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Del Vecchio, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Venditti in the 36th minute of play forced Ognissanti's goalkeeper Anfilogino Torri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was a penalty for Ognissanti! 68 minutes into the match, Belvedere Marittimo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Amadei came free, but Davide Nicolini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Davide Nicolini was left in no man's land by his defense there! The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
