If Beppe Cellucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andrea Di Massa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 91st minute, Flavio Bearzot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the match, Durazzanino's goalkeeper Ettore Iovine had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beppe Cellucci. F.C. ALCOOL TBC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Durazzanino had won, even though F.C. ALCOOL TBC had held more of the ball.
