The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armin Monticelli showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dino Di Berardino made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Ducentola FC's Ercole Briano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fulvio Ragazzoni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fulvio Ragazzoni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavio Nardi in the 53rd minute. Fabio Ciolli hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Federico Giammaria hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Borgo Elmo's goal looked a bit too open when Ercole Briano came free, but Fulvio Ragazzoni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Flavio Di Domenico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Borgo Elmo's zone, Flavio Nardi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulvio Ragazzoni came out of the goal and Flavio Nardi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Borgo Elmo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
