In the 18th minute, Ladispoli AFC's Ernesto Sessa seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ernesto Sessa the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ladispoli AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ernesto Sessa had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ladispoli AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! Alvaro Picciano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Szczepan Wolnik in the 90th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Szczepan Wolnik got free with Alvaro Picciano in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Valeriano could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ladispoli AFC throughout the match.
