Ennio Domenici showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Gambini in the 7th minute of the match. Fabio Marini hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Achille Cicchetti showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 19th minute, Daniele Panico reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Frank Di Girolamo. The goal made the score 3-0. Daniele Panico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Frank Di Girolamo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Daniele Panico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Di Girolamo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Achille Cicchetti in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Classe's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Achille Cicchetti fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, Classe's Frank Di Girolamo got control of the ball when Edmondo Faiella tried to sneak it across the goal line. Achille Cicchetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Edmondo Faiella managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rimba club's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmondo Faiella was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frank Di Girolamo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arturo Gambini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ernesto Lucantoni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Ennio Domenici made a huge save. 55 minutes into the match, Achille Cicchetti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frank Di Girolamo. Classe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Achille Cicchetti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Achille Cicchetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Di Girolamo having to interfere. Rimba club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Ernesto Lucantoni scored to the left of an out of position Ennio Domenici, making the score, 4-1. In the 70th minute of the match Rimba club got a corner. Classe's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ciccio De Lucia ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ciccio De Lucia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Di Girolamo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmondo Faiella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Achille Cicchetti made a precise shot to the right of Frank Di Girolamo. Classe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Ennio Domenici was a little too slow when Arturo Gambini got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 6-2. After 91 played minutes Classe got a freekick which was hit by Frank Simeoni. When the referee ended the match the Rimba club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
