In the 13th minute, Aurelio Genovesi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vigorovea FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Alfonso Proietti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francesco De Cesaris having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurelio Genovesi got free with Tomas Hensmans in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anthony Gizzi's late challenge caught a San Rufillo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 76 played minutes San Rufillo got a freekick which was hit by Davide Meo. Dennis Di Croce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francesco De Cesaris having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Alfonso Proietti got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Alfonso Proietti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Francesco De Cesaris made a huge save. After 90 minutes, Antonio Sangermano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vigorovea FC and the San Rufillo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute, Antonio Sangermano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes into the game, Alfonso Proietti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5.
