The audience thought a goal was coming when Donato Lemma got free with Christian Domenici in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christian Domenici was a little too slow when Emiliano Volponi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. Christian Domenici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felice Iezzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 14 minutes of play, Anita's Christian Nicolo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armin Reggianini was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 20 played minutes Rossini FC got a freekick which was hit by Damiano Tana. In the 20th minute of the match Florian Scalabrino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armin Reggianini skillfully saved the ball. After 23 played minutes Anita got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Scotti. Anita's Christian Domenici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felice Iezzi in the 24th minute of play. Christian Domenici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felice Iezzi in the 28th minute of play. Daniele Baratta's late challenge caught a Rossini FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniele Baratta was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 33 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the game, one of Anita:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Anita:s Christian Domenici showed great skill when he stopped Augusto Di Giandomenico:s penalty. In the 43rd match minute, Anita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Petrella to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Christian Domenici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Lemma, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The Rossini FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Frank Gelsomini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anita's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Gelsomini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armin Reggianini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rossini FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
