Borzoli's Christian Morini got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Beppe Malinconico sped through Borzoli's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Augustinus Tomkiewicz. Dennis Caporale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Augustinus Tomkiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Mazzetti, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Camillo Mastronardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augustinus Tomkiewicz guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 35th minute, Beppe Malinconico ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Augustinus Tomkiewicz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Dennis Caporale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Borzoli's zone, Augusto Mazzetti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augustinus Tomkiewicz came out of the goal and Augusto Mazzetti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 41 minutes, Augusto Mazzetti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Per Sona FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Mazzetti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Dennis Caporale came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Per Sona FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dennis Caporale couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Borzoli's Antonello Toppi got a free kick in the 47th minute. Augustinus Tomkiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beppe Malinconico, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Beppe Malinconico to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Per Sona FC got a corner. Borzoli's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Beppe Malinconico ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Beppe Malinconico got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Augustinus Tomkiewicz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Augusto Mazzetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Beppe Malinconico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beppe Malinconico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Augustinus Tomkiewicz having to make a save. Biagio Manzoni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christian Morini hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. A collision led to Per Sona FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Fulvio Tacconelli hit a great ball. In the 90thth minute of the game Beppe Malinconico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Borzoli's Augustinus Tomkiewicz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beppe Malinconico got free with Augustinus Tomkiewicz in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd minute, Camillo Mastronardi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Augustinus Tomkiewicz was a little too slow when Augusto Mazzetti got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 0-5. Per Sona FC played a much better game than Borzoli and deserved their victory. The Borzoli players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
