With a little luck, Subasio Hornets FC's Arrigo Vierchowod got control of the ball when Flavio Di Campli tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26th minute Fortunato Guarisi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arrigo Vierchowod saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kaká do Valle in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armin Russo saved Los from getting behind. Ferdinando Righi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Arrigo Vierchowod made a huge save. Armin Russo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká do Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Subasio Hornets FC's Arrigo Vierchowod played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fortunato Guarisi in the 40th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Flavio Di Campli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kaká do Valle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Los was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Di Campli to maneuver through the defense. Amedeo Contaldi hit a great ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Fortunato Guarisi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fortunato Guarisi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Kaká do Valle reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Armin Russo. The goal made the score 2-2. A collision led to Subasio Hornets FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Andrea Iori hit a great ball. After 69 minutes of play, Los's Fortunato Guarisi made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arrigo Vierchowod was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fortunato Guarisi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Arrigo Vierchowod tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kaká do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fortunato Guarisi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Arrigo Vierchowod tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Demetrio Staniscia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arrigo Vierchowod having to interfere. 4-2 became the score in the 87th minute when Ferdinando Righi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Kaká do Valle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kaká do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute Subasio Hornets FC were awarded a corner. Bernardo Montaldi went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Comunardo Magno got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 4-3. 96 minutes into the match. Subasio Hornets FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
