Demetrio Cherubini yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 10th minute, Ermanno Onori hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Demetrio Cherubini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Polito in the 13th minute. The audience was convinced that Demetrio Angelini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfonso Minichiello was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Demetrio Cherubini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eraldo Barillari in the 20th minute of play. Eraldo Barillari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 31 minutes into the game, Eraldo Barillari cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Demetrio Cherubini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Demetrio Marchesani charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Demetrio Marchesani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th minute, Demetrio Marchesani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the game, Vernone's Ermanno Onori nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfonso Minichiello made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Demetrio Angelini to strike the kick off in the second half. Demetrio Cherubini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Polito, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Demetrio Angelini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Alfonso Minichiello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 minutes, Antonello Caccavale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vernone and the Tettenham players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th minute there was a penalty for Tettenham. In the 63rd play minute Ermanno Onori came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alfonso Minichiello. 3-2. Alexander Polito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonso Minichiello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demetrio Angelini in the 79th minute of the match. With a little luck, Tettenham's Alfonso Minichiello got control of the ball when Ermanno Onori tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 95 minutes, Amos Cianci mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tettenham and the Vernone players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Tettenham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amos Cianci to maneuver through the defense. Tettenham's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
