Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ennio Calabrese started the match with the kick off. Elia Zacchia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Vasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 7th minute, Budrio's Alessandro Vasco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elia Zacchia. Elia Zacchia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 10 minutes into the game, Fabiano Di Giacomo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Borgo San Vittore's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Budrio the free kick. A collision led to Borgo San Vittore getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Fabiano Di Giacomo hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Budrio's Alessandro Vasco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elia Zacchia. Elia Zacchia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ennio Calabrese in the 16th minute of play forced Budrio's goalkeeper Ermanno Bottaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Pasin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elia Zacchia having to interfere. Cristiano Pasin scored 3-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elia Zacchia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 34 minutes, Alessandro Vasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Budrio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alessandro Vasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Cristiano Pasin came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Budrio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Pasin couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute of the match Carmine Del Greco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elia Zacchia skillfully saved the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Dino Ragazzoni charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dino Ragazzoni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Elia Zacchia came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Budrio's Carmine Del Greco. But to his dismay, Carmine Del Greco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Borgo San Vittore's Elia Zacchia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Pasin in the 57th minute of play. Ermanno Bottaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Di Palma in the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Emilio Tenaglia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ermanno Bottaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. 66 minutes into the game, Adriano Pompilio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Ermanno Bottaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Alessandro Vasco came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Budrio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alessandro Vasco couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Cristiano Pasin put it in 5-2 from a short distance just to the right of Elia Zacchia. Budrio's Ermanno Bottaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ennio Calabrese in the 87th minute of play. Elia Zacchia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Pasin in the 89th minute of play. Fulvio Censi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elia Zacchia having to interfere.
