After 39 played minutes F.C Zen got a freekick which was hit by Amerigo Cacciatore. Dino Parente came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Castelnuovo FC's Miroslaw Rojewski. But to his dismay, Miroslaw Rojewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enzo Palermo made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Enzo Palermo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Davide Contestabile fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Castelnuovo FC's protests and gave Davide Contestabile a yellow card for diving instead. Davide Contestabile kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in F.C Zen reached it. 63 minutes into the match, Castelnuovo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felice Matteucci came free, but Davide Costantini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miroslaw Rojewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Dino Parente made a huge save. Davide Costantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Maiorano in the 67th minute of play. Davide Costantini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felice Matteucci in the 69th minute of the match. Miroslaw Rojewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Dino Parente made a huge save. Stefan Angelov might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dino Parente. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
