Spectators: 6719 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 30) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Augusto Ruzzi made the kick off which started today's match. Scaltenigo's Fulvio Addari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Rotondi in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Augusto Ruzzi made a precise shot to the right of Fulvio Addari. Scaltenigo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Augusto Ruzzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ercole Giacomozzi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabio Gaudino went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Fulvio Addari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Ruzzi in the 32nd minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Augusto Ruzzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fulvio Addari was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The supporters of Roccacellacchiona Fc booed when Scaltenigo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermanno Fantozzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th match minute, Scaltenigo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmondo Lauro to maneuver through the defense. Franco Ubriaco made a great header on Roccacellacchiona Fc's corner, it was just that Scaltenigo's Fulvio Addari managed to reach the ball for a save. After a defensive mix-up in Scaltenigo's zone, Angelo Rotondi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulvio Addari came out of the goal and Angelo Rotondi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelo Rotondi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angelo Rotondi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulvio Addari having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flavio De Luca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Ruzzi in the 54th minute of play forced Scaltenigo's goalkeeper Fulvio Addari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmondo De Bettin charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmondo De Bettin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Roccacellacchiona Fc's Augusto Ruzzi got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Roccacellacchiona Fc defense, Fabio Gaudino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ercole Giacomozzi. The Roccacellacchiona Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ercole Giacomozzi should have stopped the shot. Fabio Gaudino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flavio De Luca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Roccacellacchiona Fc's Alex De Donatis got a free kick in the 81st minute. Ercole Giacomozzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Manzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 84th play minutes Fabio Gaudino shot 4-2, a short shot which went by Ercole Giacomozzi and just under the crossbar into goal. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Roccacellacchiona Fc! Fulvio Addari was a little too slow when Augusto Ruzzi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 5-3. When Angelo Rotondi came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Roccacellacchiona Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Rotondi couldn't finish the play. Scaltenigo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Roccacellacchiona Fc for a fine match.
