Spectators: 7312 (Terracing: 5485, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 145) Cosimo Lazzaro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Lipomo AFC's Donato Nicolini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amos Mariotti in the 4th minute of play. Donato Nicolini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amos Mariotti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th match minute, Lipomo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florian Alati to maneuver through the defense. Adilson Meireles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlo Marra hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Amos Mariotti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Nicolini having to interfere. Angelo Petrucci charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelo Petrucci the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cosimo Lazzaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fedele Barresi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Fagnani in the 25th minute of play. Donato Nicolini was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adilson Meireles showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. Fedele Barresi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosimo Lazzaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 35 minutes into the match, ATALANTA 1907's goal looked a bit too open when Cosimo Lazzaro came free, but Fedele Barresi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adilson Meireles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lipomo AFC's zone, Adilson Meireles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Nicolini came out of the goal and Adilson Meireles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amos Mariotti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Nicolini having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amos Mariotti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fedele Barresi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosimo Lazzaro in the 54th minute of play. With a little luck, ATALANTA 1907's Fedele Barresi got control of the ball when Fabiano Fagnani tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amos Mariotti might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donato Nicolini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amos Mariotti ran back to his position shaking his head. If Amos Mariotti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Petrucci struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Donato Nicolini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ATALANTA 1907. If Fabiano Fagnani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Muriel's late challenge caught a Lipomo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Muriel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th minute, Luís Muriel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lipomo AFC's goalkeeper Donato Nicolini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Adilson Meireles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Donato Nicolini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amos Mariotti went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the ATALANTA 1907 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
