Armin Moriggi kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. If Börje Olsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Eraldo Sacchetti sped through ATELTICO VALLERICCIA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Frank Scalabrino. 18 minutes into the game, Frank Sammartino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peretti AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ATELTICO VALLERICCIA the free kick. Frank Sammartino hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20thth minute of the game Aldo Guerra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peretti AFC's Ferruccio Visintin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Peretti AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Guerra came free, but Ferruccio Visintin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferruccio Visintin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amedeo Scarpa, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Frank Sammartino kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After 28 played minutes Peretti AFC got a freekick which was hit by Eraldo Sacchetti. Ferruccio Visintin was a little too slow when Fortunato Bozzo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-1. Corrado Petitos short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Ferruccio Visintin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ferruccio Visintin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fortunato Bozzo in the 40th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Fulvio Granata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, Corrado Petito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ATELTICO VALLERICCIA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After a rather tough play, ATELTICO VALLERICCIA's Antonello Franceschini got a free kick in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aldo Guerra to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Peretti AFC's zone, Corrado Petito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferruccio Visintin came out of the goal and Corrado Petito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ATELTICO VALLERICCIA's Frank Scalabrino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sammartino in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Antonello Franceschini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eraldo Sacchetti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute, Aldo Guerra made a precise shot to the right of Ferruccio Visintin. Peretti AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Peretti AFC's Concetto Di Mascio was substituted for Amos Biancone. With a little luck, ATELTICO VALLERICCIA's Frank Scalabrino got control of the ball when Eraldo Sacchetti tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 74th minute Aldo Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferruccio Visintin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peretti AFC's Ferruccio Visintin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Guerra in the 77th minute of play. Corrado Petito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferruccio Visintin having to interfere. Peretti AFC's Christian Di Lello was substituted for Alberto Raimondi. Peretti AFC made a substitution. Bruno Colantonio replaced Fulvio Granata. Frank Scalabrino was a little too slow when Concetto Di Mascio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 3-2. After 88 played minutes ATELTICO VALLERICCIA got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Guerra. 94 minutes into the match, Peretti AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Corrado Petito came free, but Ferruccio Visintin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
