Fabio Di Giacomo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ermanno Di Bernardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Onzato AFC's zone, Arrigo Fava stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvise Goffredo came out of the goal and Arrigo Fava tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arrigo Fava fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvise Goffredo having to interfere. If Arrigo Fava had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dino Piattelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ermanno Di Bernardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes in the game, Biagio Maccioni fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Alvise Goffredo having to interfere. If Dino Piattelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arrigo Fava to make the kick off. Arrigo Fava struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Alvise Goffredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frittole. Dino Piattelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Fabio Di Giacomo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Ermanno Di Bernardo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Biagio Maccioni hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After having played for 90 minutes, Fabio Di Giacomo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Onzato AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Di Giacomo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Onzato AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
