Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eugenio Gelsomini got the match started through his kick off. Ronchi's Emanuele Gori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosimo Di Falco in the 3rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ferruccio Tonon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuele Gori was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Attilio Bonfigli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugenio Gelsomini in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Attilio Bonfigli saved Saiano AFC from getting behind. When Fortunato Selvi came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Ronchi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fortunato Selvi couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute Eugenio Gelsomini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attilio Bonfigli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Saiano AFC's zone, Fortunato Selvi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Attilio Bonfigli came out of the goal and Fortunato Selvi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ronchi's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
