Anthony Carlucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dennis Mancinelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniele Ferretti in the 13th minute of play. Fedele Pelliccioni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvise Ragazzoni in the 15th minute. Sunshine's Dennis Mancinelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felice Masetti in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Baffo Moretti FC's Daniele Ferretti got a free kick in the 17th minute. Flavio Attili might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fedele Pelliccioni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Flavio Attili ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Baffo Moretti FC defense, Alvise Ragazzoni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fedele Pelliccioni. The Baffo Moretti FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fedele Pelliccioni should have stopped the shot. Alvise Ragazzoni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fedele Pelliccioni having to interfere. Filippo Egger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Flavio Attili was extremely unlucky when he, in the 30th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Filippo Egger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fedele Pelliccioni having to interfere. A collision led to Baffo Moretti FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Emilio Del Greco hit a great ball. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Baffo Moretti FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Filippo Egger was slow to take the kick. During this time Sunshine's players had a chance to rest. Dennis Mancinelli came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Baffo Moretti FC's Felice Masetti. But to his dismay, Felice Masetti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felice Masetti made a kick off. Baffo Moretti FC's Fedele Pelliccioni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Attili in the 59th minute of play. Fortunato Micucci hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After having played for 64 minutes, Alvise Ragazzoni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sunshine's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvise Ragazzoni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flavio Attili took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fedele Pelliccioni. Fedele Pelliccioni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. When Ermanno Scalia came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Baffo Moretti FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ermanno Scalia couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Baffo Moretti FC booed when Sunshine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filippo Egger didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Baffo Moretti FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Felice Masetti hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Sunshine's Comunardo Borel got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute, Felice Masetti fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dennis Mancinelli, passed just outside the right post. Alvise Ragazzoni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fedele Pelliccioni having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Sunshine's Alvise Ragazzoni nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fedele Pelliccioni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Sunshine's Dennis Mancinelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felice Masetti in the 97th minute of play. Sunshine's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
