Cologno Monzese FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Tozzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alvaro Tabacchi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Tozzi in the 7th minute of the match. Flavio Della Torre charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavio Della Torre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Vicarello getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. After 14 played minutes, Cologno Monzese FC's Armando Ferrini shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alvaro Tabacchi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cologno Monzese FC reached it. After 18 played minutes Vicarello got a freekick which was hit by Florian De Palma. Alvaro Tabacchi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Tozzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vicarello's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Cristiano Tozzi scored to the left of an out of position Alvaro Tabacchi, making the score, 1-0. Anfilogino Rocchi struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Alvaro Tabacchi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cologno Monzese FC. Cristiano Tozzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Alvaro Tabacchi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 played minutes, Cologno Monzese FC's Christian Nasuti shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alvaro Tabacchi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Cologno Monzese FC's Cristiano Tozzi got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alvaro Tabacchi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Ferrini in the 67th minute of play. Anfilogino Rocchi took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvaro Tabacchi. Alvaro Tabacchi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Alvaro Tabacchi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anfilogino Rocchi's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Alberigo Bertolini kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Cologno Monzese FC's Alberto De Meis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vicarello. 85 minutes into the match, Vicarello's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Tozzi came free, but Alvaro Tabacchi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristiano Tozzi took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvaro Tabacchi. Alvaro Tabacchi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 94 minutes into the match, Vicarello's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Tozzi came free, but Alvaro Tabacchi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristiano Tozzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cologno Monzese FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
