FC Fox's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lissone the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Damiano Anastasi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lissone's supporters rose to their feet, but Damiano Anastasi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudio Mazzei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enrico Pantani came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arrigo Crisantemo could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Lucidi in the 31st minute of play forced FC Fox's goalkeeper Claudio Mazzei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Dario Brandolini reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arrigo Crisantemo. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jon Nyhus to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Lissone's Damiano Anastasi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Arrigo Crisantemo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Brandolini, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The Lissone fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2.
